What a society pays, and what a resident pays.

Two different bills. The society pays Nivas for the software. A resident pays the society its maintenance, and pays exactly that, with nothing added on top.

Per flat, per month

  • One price for every society, published on this page
  • Every member’s login included
  • Nothing billed until the committee agrees in writing
  • Pilot societies get a founding rate

What a resident pays

One payment, line by line.

An example from Bhagwat Glory. The maintenance amount and any late fee are set by each society's committee; the rest is the same for every society on Nivas.

Accepted payment modes

  • UPI
  • Debit and credit cards
  • Net banking

And any other mode ICICI Bank offers on its payment page.

The resident pays

Flat A-101 · Example
Maintenance, October 2026
₹2,500

What reaches the society

Paid by the resident
₹2,500
Bank charges (MDR), at the society's agreed rate for the mode used
− MDR
Settled to the society's account
T+1 working day

The bank deducts its charges from the settlement, so they are borne by the society, never added to the resident's bill. Nivas takes no share of the payment.

How a payment works

From the dues screen to the bank.

  1. Open your dues

The app shows what your flat owes, month by month, from the society’s own ledger.

  2. Choose what to pay

This month, or everything outstanding. Nivas works out the amount; you never type it.

  3. Pay on the bank’s page

ICICI Bank's secure page takes the payment. Nivas never sees your card or UPI details.

  4. Get your receipt

When the bank confirms, the receipt is filed on your flat straight away.

  5. The society is paid

The bank settles into the society’s own account, generally T+1 working day.
