Pilot open

Run your society, not a WhatsApp group.

Nivas keeps maintenance dues, society funds, parking, residents and committee records in one place. The committee records a decision once, and every member can see it.

What is inside

Everything a committee actually does, on record.

Five modules are live today. Each one replaces a job the committee is currently doing in a notebook or a group chat.

  1. 01Maintenance dues

    Every rupee accounted for.

A ledger per flat. Paid, pending and collected, with no reminder messages.

The dues screen: a list of flats with paid and pending amounts, a twelve month payment strip, and the total collected this month.

    The usual problem

The treasurer chases 40 flats on WhatsApp every month, and nobody agrees on who has actually paid.

    On this screen

Each flat has its own ledger with a 12 month paid and pending strip, a receipt against every payment, and one pending list the committee works from.

  2. 02Fund and accounts

    The fund, in the open.

Money in, money out, and the movements behind both.

The fund screen: current balance, monthly money in and money out, and a dated list of movements with their categories.

    The usual problem

Members keep asking where the maintenance money went, and the answer sits in a notebook only the treasurer can read.

    On this screen

Balance, monthly inflow and outflow, and every movement with its category and date, open to the whole committee.

  3. 03Parking board

A parking map, not a spreadsheet.

Bays by zone, with the flat and vehicle on each one.

The parking board: bays laid out by zone, each labelled with its flat number and vehicle, with free and blocked slots marked.

    The usual problem

Two families claim the same bay, a visitor parks in an allotted slot, and the allotment list is three years old.

    On this screen

Every bay on a live board with its flat, free and blocked slots marked, two wheeler and four wheeler counted separately.

  4. 04Residents and occupancy

See the building, not a list.

Floor by floor occupancy, and search when you know the name.

The residents screen: the building read floor by floor, each flat marked owner-occupied, rented, vacant, or missing records.

    The usual problem

Nobody knows which flats are rented, which are empty, or whose tenant papers were never collected.

    On this screen

The building read floor by floor with owner, rented, vacant and missing records visible, and search when you know the name.

  5. 05Committee and roles

    Who holds which seat.

Bearers, floor reps and duties on record, with gaps flagged.

The committee screen: office bearers and floor representatives with their duties and contacts, and vacant seats flagged.

    The usual problem

A complaint reaches five people and gets handled by none, because no one is sure whose duty it is.

    On this screen

Bearers, floor representatives and duties on record with contacts, so vacant seats and unassigned duties are flagged instead of forgotten.

Questions

Asked by most committees.

What does the pilot cost?

Nothing. The society pays no fee for the duration of the pilot. If you decide to continue afterwards, we discuss pricing then. There is no obligation.

Why only around ten logins?

The pilot is free and we keep the load predictable while we harden the application. Ten logins cover the chairman, the committee and a few residents who can review it properly. Every member still exists in the records; their logins open when the society moves to a paid plan.

Do we have to enter all our data ourselves?

No. We send a spreadsheet with clear columns for flats, blocks, members and parking. You fill it once, and we import it into the system for you.

Can we ask for a feature specific to our society?

Yes, and we encourage it. Describe it on the call or in the form. We release regularly and most requests from pilot societies reach the application within weeks.

Who owns the records?

The society does. Ask for an export at any point, during or after the pilot, and we provide it. Your data stays yours.
