Account deletion
Delete your Nivas account.
You can do this yourself inside the app, or ask us and we will do it for you. This page says exactly what goes, what stays, and why.

Erased
What deletion removes.
- Your name, phone number and email address
- Your login and any device sessions
- Your role and committee seat, if you hold one
- Support conversations you started with us
- Crash and usage records tied to your device
Retained
What we cannot delete, and why.
Two things survive a deletion request. Neither is a profile of you, and neither is used to contact you or identify you again.
Payment and ledger entries against your flat
These are the society’s accounting records, not personal profile data. Removing a receipt would leave the society’s books unbalanced and its audit incomplete.
Kept 8 years, as audit and statutory rules require
The flat record itself
The flat belongs to the society and outlives any one resident. Your name comes off it; the flat, its dues history and its parking allotment stay.
Kept while the society uses Nivas
If you are the whole society.
A committee can ask us to close the society's account entirely. We export everything to a spreadsheet and hand it over first, so the committee keeps its own records, and then remove the society from our systems. Records stay live for 90 days after you stop using Nivas, so a committee changeover does not lose them by accident.
